Below are the 3 approved of major activities for the 2011 calendar.
April 16: 4th Annual "Vettes Doin Charleston" in Charleston, SC
July 14-16: Corvette homecoming in Bowling Green, KY
Aug 20: Cruise-in in London, KY
We will be leaving the North Carolina welcome center on I-26 at 8:30 AM on April 15 to attend the Vettes Doin' Charleston Show.
There is a tentative change in the location of the June and September club meetings. Instead of Greeneville in June and Morristown in September, these may be switched when more information is gathered. Possible meeting places are Jerry's Automotive in Morristown in June and the museum in Greeneville in September. The museum is to be catered by Stan's BBQ.
For those of you that are able please plan to attend a fund raising car show at the Church Hill Senior Center on Saturday, June 11, 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
We will be attending a Tennessee Smokies baseball game on July 8th. The club will participate in pre-game activities by driving our cars around the warning track. So everyone plan to bring you Corvette to this event. Note this will be replacing our regular meeting scheduled on July 2nd.
President Gary Taylor and Carolyn said that they would host the Christmas dinner this year. Location to be decided later.
Note: 2011 dues must be paid by the March meeting to retain club voting privileges.
