BY-LAWS

 

1.

Membership

 

 

A.

Voting Members

 

 

 

1.

Anyone of legal age, who owns a Corvette or sells their Corvette and buys another Corvette within six (6) months while they are members.

 

 

 

2.

The spouse of a voting member may become a voting member by paying dues, the amount of which will be decided yearly by the voting membership present at the meeting when the dues are presented.

 

 

 

3.

Anyone of legal age who has access to an immediate family member's Corvette.

 

 

B.

Non-Voting Members

 

 

 

1.

All family members of each voting member.  No dues for family members.

 

 

 

2.

Anyone of legal age who does not own a Corvette or does not have access to a Corvette through an immediate family member.

 

 

C.

All prospective members shall be voted on at the first meeting following the meeting they are presented for membership.  It will require a 100% 'yes' vote by voting members present.  Voting will be secret ballot.  EXCEPTION:  Prospective members may be voted on at their first meeting if prospective member has a voting member sponsor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.

A.

New or old business must carry a majority of voting members present at the meeting when new or old business is presented.  This does not apply to voting on disciplinary matters.

 

 

B.

Amendments or changes to the by-laws can be presented at any meeting but can not be voted on until the meeting following the meeting at which the changes were presented.  All by-law changes need a majority vote of members present.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.

Disciplinary matters shall be handled by a committee appointed by the club president for any action to be taken.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.

Club officers must be voting members and shall be elected to a minimum term of two years by the voting membership present at the meeting when the officers are presented for election.

 

 

A.

The offices of president and vice president must be filled by voting members who own a Corvette.

 

 

 

 

Club Officers are as follows:

President

Treasurer

Webmaster

Vice President

Secretary

Event Chairperson

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.

Annual dues shall be decided yearly by voting members present at the meeting when dues are presented.

 

 

 

 

 

 

6.

Meeting dates and times shall be voted on by the voting members present at the meeting when dates and times are presented.

 

 

 

 

 

 

7.

All events shall be voted on by the voting members present at the meeting when the events are presented.

 

 

 

 

 

 

8.

No alcohol or drugs shall be at or consumed at any club sanctioned event.
